Post Buying Custom Designed Printed Lanyards   Sat Aug 13, 2011 12:12 pm

It is crucial for businesses today to look as professional as possible. The more identification that ties an employee to the business, the closer connected customers will feel to the store. Employees should have their name tag in a spot where it is easy to read, as many people could coincidentally be wearing the same outfit the workers are wearing. It is fairly common to be shopping in a store and hear a customer ask someone "do you work here?" This results from unclear identification, as uniforms do not always separate the workers from the customers. Businesses also need to maintain an emphasis on promotion. By giving away a promotional gift, customers will be able to tote it around town for everyone to see. This will result in advertising that costs next to nothing. How can a business make their employees easier to identify, while also promoting their business?

Employee Use

Businesses can buy printed lanyards. These are basically a strap that fits around the neck, well most people carry them in their pocket with their keys. However, if the employee uses the device the proper way, attaching their name tag to the clip at the base of the lanyard, they will be hard to miss. Seeing a lanyard with a name tag moving around will likely separate the employees from the normal customers. A lot of people may stop in after work in clothes similar to what the workers are wearing however, they will most likely remove their name tag upon leaving their job.

Promotional Use

Printed lanyards are also excellent promotional gifts. A business could hand these out to customers who join the rewards club. They could even go a step further and hand them out to each customer that makes a purchase. The system is kind of funny with promotional gifts, as people are happy to accept a free item. However, the business just paid for that item and still made profit if they give them away at the time of purchase. The people do not realise that they are basically paying to advertise for the business. That is the beauty of promotional gifts; the business is essentially being paid to advertise. They do not need to spend a fortune on television, radio and newspaper advertising that is sort of hit and miss. Most people skip over the advertisements in these sources anyway. Imagine how much business could be generated when a customer pulls the lanyard with the company name out of their pocket. People always find a use for lanyards and they almost become part of them, it is sure to be seen everywhere.
