A Close Study to SEO

It requires so many unique elements to optimize the websites. All this should be taken into consideration by the SEO practitioners to be in the broad field of website optimization.

Why does a Company or Organization or a Person need websites

The commercial engines, like Google, Yahoo, and Bing drive the majority of the traffic to the websites. If they do not find your site, or the content of your site cannot be put into their database, you will let pass the unbelievable opportunities. Whether it is products, contents, information or services, the engines are the important method of navigation for almost all the internet users to find them. So to have high exposure to public knowledge you must have websites.

Why can't the search engines work without SEO help?

The search engines always crawl the web more deeply and closely, and give back maximum result to the users. But, there is always the limitation of operation of them. The right move of the search engines can get your site thousands of traffics, but wrong move can bury your site deep into the search results, and it results in minimum visibility. SEO can boost ranking your site by making it available to the engines. The content is placed in such a way where the searchers will find them easily. In the increasingly competitive world of online users, the companies which will perform right SEO will have the advantages of getting more and more customers and visitors. So, you should be as much serious as improving traffic as SEO.

How Search Engines search or operate

The search engines go through four steps: Crawling, Building an Index, Rankings, and Serving Results. The World Wide Web is like a network of stops in a big city subway system. The engines crawl whole of the city to find all the stops along the way, with a view to use the best path possible- links.

The Links Bind the Pages

The link structure of the web binds together all the existing pages or at least the pages that the engines can access. The automated crawler or spider can reach the interconnected documents/pages. Once the engines find these pages, they parse the code from them and store selected pieces of the pages in hard drives that may be recalled if necessary. The huge storage of billions of pages can be accessed within a fraction of seconds. To perform this huge task they have created data centers in the different cities of the world. These data centers can hold large quantities of information. When a person searches at any of the major engines, he demands instant result. Slightest delay, say 3 or 4 seconds, may cause dissatisfaction. So, the search engines provide results as fast as possible.

Search Engines Provides Answers

When a person searches for something on line, the search engines return him the relevant or useful results, and rank those result in order of value or importance. So, the process of SEO is meant to influence both the relevance and importance. Currently, the major engines typically equalize importance with popularity. The more popular the site is, the more valuable information it contains.

SEO is the practice of optimizing a website in order to increase the traffic the sites receives from the search engines. SEO practicing firms may vary in their approaches. Some may have a highly specialized focus, while others take a broader or general focus. The search engines work through four steps of crawling, index building, Ranking, and serving results.
