How To Analyze Your Search Engine Rankings

It would be comforting to know that search engine rankings were easy to obtain and the services had no tricks up their sleeves to get your money and produce few if any results. If only they would offer something unique that eliminates the guesswork, before you spend your money, it would be well worth investigating. The following are four types of reports that could prove the validity of continuing your efforts, even if your niche is already saturated.

A Full On-Page Quality Report. This does not mean the report itself is 'quality'. It means there should be a method to run system checks to determine the overall quality of your site content, and business purpose as to what product or service you offer. This needs to include its suitable for an active niche. At the end of the day, you really want to know if the niche you are pursuing is even worth the effort.

A Full Site Design and Structure Report. As you well know, a tremendous amount of effort goes into designing a website to comply with SEO standards. This type of report would interrogate your site design and compare it with the latest in SEO requirements.

A Detailed Keyword Analysis. Entrepreneurs almost cringe at the sound of that name from spending endless hours pouring their brains over keyword strategies and straining to find the exact words that will put their site at the top of the SERPs. Most of these business people have no access to the powerful software needed to isolate popular keywords never thought of in use with a particular product or service.

A Full ROI Analysis. Products and services cost money to set in place and a sufficient profit must result or the business fails. Great keywords used on offers that only bring in a small price will soon put a concern out of business. A report that balances out all these factors could determine if the ROI is worth pursuing.

There are several types SEO packages. Each one focuses on the competitiveness of your niche and the traffic volumes needed to achieve the required ROI. For this reason, it is impossible to quote you a price on a package without knowing the results of a full site analysis. If only search engine rankings were done by a service that includes these reports before they take you on as a customer, you would be ahead of the game and only pay for what services you need to make your site rank higher.
